Tonight we’re excited to have musician and producer Joe Henry on the Furious World!  He has over two decades of experience as a solo artist, and is also a Grammy-winning producer.  Joe has worked with artists such as Elvis Costello, Madonna, and Ani DiFranco.  His latest release, “Blood from Stars”, came out in August; you can listen to the album here.

We also have a few other guest musicians tomorrow… word is that Eric Heywood, previous guest of our show, is back from tour and will be sitting in on some tunes.  So grab your popcorn, pull up a chair, and invite your friends over to watch the show!

A local landmark, this Los Angeles night club was established in 1937 and is celebrating its 70th year here in 2007. Its best known for its live music and over the years many greats have not only played here, they got their starts by playing The Mint. Back in the day, the likes of Stevie Wonder, Willie Dixon, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles and more graced its stage and more recently, Ben Harper, Macy Gray, The Wallflowers honed their craft and kicked off their careers playing this Los Angeles night club. Although live music is what we are known for, many people come to the Mint just to hang out, grab some of our tapas style cuisine and some drinks. The kitchen is usually open until midnight, there is a full bar and we have beer on tap and a great wine list to suit any palate and budget.

Special guests for this event will be The Moshav Band and relationship specialist Marni Battista.
