We’ve got another great guest artist this week!  Cori Yarckin is one of Rolling Stones ‘Top 5 Up and Coming Female Artists’, and has recently released her debut album.  Her sound can be described as “angst-driven, yet light hearted… with a splash of modern rock”.  She’s opened up for major groups such as Soul Asylum and the Jonas Brothers.

She’s got some great music at her myspace page to listen to as well.  Also joining her will be Tim Fagan, another talented singer/songwriter.  We’re looking forward to having them both on the show- I hope you can check it out!

Singer-songwriter Peter Himmelman represents that rarest of talents: A Grammy-nominated performer lauded everywhere from Rolling Stone to the Huffington Post … and once you’ve seen him perform live, you never forget him. We’ve had a number of great female artists on the show; we’ll be adding another one to that list with Femke.  She’s a talented Dutch singer-songwriter who’s won a number of impressive songwriting awards, both in her home country as well as the UK and US.

Femke has gained some attention from her ‘one song a week’ project.  It’s a very ambitious project, and we’re enjoying the results!  You can check out her music on YouTube and learn more about Femke at her website.

Tomorrow’s guest is the musician Ernie Halter!  He’s a very talented singer/songwriter based here in LA. Ernie’s latest album “Ernie Halter: Live” contains great performances from a number of shows.  On his website, erniehalter.com, he says “in the studio, I’ve always worked hard to make my records sound as live as possible, and this was an opportunity to share true live recordings of a number of my songs.”

Technology has been a re-occuring theme on the Furious world; not only are we pioneers in the realm of online entertainment, but we’ve had a number of great guests from the tech field (Leo Laporte, Chris Pirillo, the Mars Rover Team).  Ernie has also been very successful in using the latest technology to promote his music; he has over half a million Twitter followers, has almost 2 million myspace views, and has one of the top selling rock albums on iTunes.

This week’s guest is Michael O’Keefe; he’s an actor, writer, director, and producer.  In fact, he’s received a number of Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations.  You’ve probably seen him on shows such as The West Wing, Law and Order, and House M.D.

Michael will be talking about his book, “Swimming Under My Father”, which is Michael’s first book of poetry.  His book is available at Make It New Media.
